  • Advertiser: Any individual (aged 18 or older) or legal entity, residing or registered in the applicable jurisdiction, who creates an account and posts a listing on the Website. Creating a listing automatically creates a Personal Account for the Advertiser.

  • Personal Account: A free, user-specific account that allows Advertisers to post, manage, edit, or delete listings via the Website or Mobile Site.

  • TextbookJunction: Refers to the company that owns, operates, and publishes the Website and Mobile Site, providing the TextbookJunction Services to Users and Advertisers.

  • Customer Service: The support department of TextbookJunction, available to assist Users and Advertisers. Customer Service can be reached via the contact form or email link provided on the Website.

  • TextbookJunction Services: All features and functionalities made available to Users and Advertisers via the Website and Mobile Site.

  • Website: The primary online platform operated by TextbookJunction, accessible at https://textbookjunction.com, where users can browse or post listings.

  • Mobile Site: The mobile-optimized version of the Website, accessible from mobile devices at https://textbookjunction.com.

  • User: Any visitor who accesses the TextbookJunction Services through the Website or Mobile Site, regardless of whether they post a listing.

2. Subject

These Terms govern the use of the Website and Mobile Site, including but not limited to posting listings, creating accounts, and accessing TextbookJunction Services. By using the Website or Mobile Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Personal Account, submitting a listing, or otherwise using the Website or Mobile Site, you fully and unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

4. Responsibilities of the Advertiser

  • The Advertiser is solely responsible for the content of the listings they submit.

  • The Advertiser must ensure that all information is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

  • The Advertiser must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to the sale or promotion of textbooks and educational materials.

5. Limitation of Liability

TextbookJunction shall not be held liable for:

  • Any inaccuracy or omission in listings posted by Advertisers;

  • Any damages resulting from a transaction or interaction between Users;

  • Any interruption or suspension of the Website due to maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure.

Each Advertiser and User acknowledges that use of the Website is at their own risk.

6. Modifications to the Terms

TextbookJunction reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, without prior notice. The updated Terms will be effective upon being published on the Website. Users and Advertisers are encouraged to review the Terms regularly.

7. Account and Listing Management

Advertisers may manage, edit, or delete their listings by logging into their Personal Account. Listings are generally active for a period of 3 months, after which they are deactivated. Notifications will be sent before and upon deactivation. Advertisers can renew listings within 30 days of expiration. Otherwise, the listing will be permanently deleted.

8. Spam and Privacy

TextbookJunction keeps your personal information secure. Your email address is never publicly displayed in listings. We take privacy and spam prevention seriously.

9. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and will not affect the validity of the remaining Terms.
